End of Term Newsletter December 2019

Dear parents

Today is the last day of term. On behalf of everyone on the staff team I’d like to thank you.

We are very lucky to have parents who support our work and help us so much.

We’re always happy to hear your views so please feel free to talk to me or Lindsey – or anyone in the team.

We’re interested to hear about what’s going well, and also what you think we could do better.

Winter Wonderland

Thanks to everyone for coming along and taking part in Winter Wonderland. I’m really pleased to say that your donations to the United Nations Refugee Agency came to a total of £160.

That will give three refugee families the essentials they need to stay warm this winter.

Dates for next term

The first day back for children is Tuesday 7th January.

We’re then closed for the Newham Early Years Conference on Thursday 9th February.

I’m sorry it’s such a disrupted first week back. It’s because the conference date is fixed, and we also line up with the primary school to return on Tuesday.

You can find all of the dates for the school year on our website, or pick up a copy in reception.

The Children’s Centre is open for Stay and Play for children up to 8 years old:

  • Thursday 2nd January 2020 – 9 -11am and 1-3pm.
  • Friday 3rd January 2020 – 9-11am
